Tip of the Week
This is something Terence Toh did with us when warming up on short notice (ie. people were late!!!). Simply put, we did all the breathing exercises first, and then instead of vocalization, we would either just hum the notes, or do the vibrating lips thingy.Not a real substitute for actually singing out to work out the kinks in the throat (and phlegm, and other... unsavory stuff...) , but it does warm up the body enough to avoid the aftereffects of singing without a proper warm up sequence.
Still, pls, pls, be on time (or early!) for every practice to avoid this!
